MOAB!!!  U10 Boys Mother of all Battles!!  With our close overall ranking and the fact that the 2 challengers u10 teams tied 4-4 in the beginning of the season it is time for a good battle once again.  Further we each split 1 games with Team Chicago for a 3 way tie for 1st.  The June 8th game was another squeeker and a defensive battle amongst the two rival teams.  In the end it was a 0-0 tie. Congrats to all the boys for another exciting game.  

Red Team Games  (Please arrive 30-45 min ahead of the game)

June 13 (not 9th) 6 pm  Saturday Red U10 HOME DG Roadrunners 6PM Arrowhead Park  711 Iroquois Ave, Naperville Don will be with his mom and chris and Marcos are at camp so please everybody be there and support Coach Jim and the team.

U10 Boys Practices June 07 

Practices June 11 -22 TBA (see comments at bottom):

Coach Don's mother is in the hospital and White has completed its games for the season. However, if we can get some thing going we will send out an email.  I would suspect that there may be a practice/tryout June 18 or 22nd at Arrowhead Park.

EOY Party!  Nancy has scheduled an end of the year party for Red and White June 24th.  See the other blog entry for details on what to bring etc.

Try out Results!!  We had 35 boys try out for our fall '07 u11 teams.  We will probably take 33 and have 3 teams.  Also there may be another chance for a few more kids to try out around June 18 or 22.  Unfortunately with Don's Mom's health taking priority we have done a poor job of determining rosters for the fall.  We hope to make some announcements soon.  Meanwhile please keep Don's Mom in your prayers.

 

Remember to check the weather and dress in layers for colder than expected temperatures.  If it is hot you can always remove layers.

      Peter is off to camp in Wisconsin on the 15th and won't return until the 25th (probably, although the return time could change). The 27th and 28th are probably the only days he'll be available to participate. (I accept blame for the camp-he plans to spend a lot of time with his cousin too!)

      Why not Sat 6/9 at 7:00pm. The Red team already had a game scheduled at that time vs DG. With DG canceling, the field is already available and the Red team would not have to change their plans.

      For Red please add Wed June 13th Arrowhead Med 6pm -7:15pm which is a rescheduling our (u10 red boys) 7 pm game on (Arrowhead Medium) June 9th
