u11 Boys Fall Practices

Fall Practices  Have not been finalized but we are heavily considering Mondays and Fridays 5-6:30 at Meadow Glens with Trainer Jon H. and his brother.  Practices may begin about Aug 10th.  Coaches practices may be coordinated with the trainer practices or may be moved to weekends.  These tend to the best fall evenings as they conflict with less football practice conflicts.  Coaches are also making progress on more consistency in scheduling practices with less re-scheduling and changes.  (Weather cancellations of practices may not be rescheduled for example).   In late August local kids football teams will begin announcing their practice and game schedules.  Blog your regular conflicts below.

      I agree, something more centralized for everyone. Gettign to Meadow Glens by 5pm for us on northside, we'd have to leave by 4pm. Traffic coming TO northside might be less heavy at that time??

      Meadow Glens is really really far. How about Brush Hill park? It is almost always vacant and is fairly big. Wiloway commons is also huge and never used for soccer ( runs along the river about 1/4 mile, and flat, might be goose poopy ) Could we use Hill middle school or Brookdale or May Watts? I am sure school activities will be over by 5pm. Fri. and Mon. are fine days.

      The trainer that U11 uses, Jon Healy, holds other trainer sessions with his own galaxy teams at Meadow Glens (Trainer sessions have always been at Meadow Glens). Our team usually has their session right before or after Galaxy sessions. In the past, when we hold Coach only practices, we usually practice at Arrowhead. There are also some "southsiders" and practices usually are evened out between the 2 fields. It depends on the trainer's schedule.
