NPD Field Permits

Team Managers:
Please blog here to request changes in your field requests.  Also download new permits here when they become avialable.  

For changes and new requests please give all details including:
1.  Your team name, level, location, field size and length of game
2.  If this is a new game or which game # is being replaced.
3.  So I do not have to look them up, please specify if the field has been requested on our latest master spreadsheet but that you do not see it on the permits; or if this is a new request.  It takes me alot of time to double check what you may have just checked so let me know. 

Please do not re-email the same details in a way that makes me do this all 2-3 times.  Just email me with something like:  "Hey I need an update on my blogged comment from 9/6"

Please be aware that Steve Jablow has said getting a referees earlier than 7 pm on weeknights is tough.  Lighted fields are not available in spring (fal only) and consider sunset times.  See Sunset Calendar

Airset: In the near future it may be a good idea to join Airset so some of you can see what fields are open BEFORE you request them.  Brock and I are working towrds this as a solutuon and time saver.  Airset:Is a free online outlook group calendar that syncs with others outlook calendars and contacts.  Click to watch air set demo video .  This may be perfect for anybody involved in multiple groups but also has private personal appointments, Outlook and a cell phone. 

Approvals will be posted along with new field permits as attachements to this entry.

      Just so you guys realize, the IWSL only gives the girls teams till this Tuesday, March 25 (a whole 2 more days)to get our time changes done. They do not give extentions after that. We are not given the opportunity, like the boys (NISL), to sit in a room face to face with multiple times to solidify schedules. Instead, we (the 2 teams facing each other)go back and forth with emails, giving each other 2-3 options that might work. The Challenger teams cannot solidify with the other team until we hear back from the NPD. Thanks, Steve

      I called back and asked for alternate times or locations he had proposed. I also wrote to the effected teams to confirm the changes. Until I hear back from these teams I assume that the changes are OK and will request permits for those dates.
      I do not have any other updates yet this week.

      The original 4/13 home game against LTSC was swapped to 5/18 (the spreadsheet shows we play Atlixco on 5/18 - that is incorrect). The spreadsheet is missing the actual date we play Atlixco, which is 6/8 at 1:00 p.m.

      On 3/19 the U12 Girls Wildcats blogged a request to change our Sunday 06-01-08 game at Nike Park large field from 12:30pm to 11:00am. Same date, JUST different time. There was a follow up blog entry 3/26. The schedule does not reflect this change.

      The U12 Girls Wildcats will not need the Nike Park large field on Saturday 05-17-08 at 5:30pm. The other team cannot make this time. Please remove this from the schedule.

      The U10 Girls Tiger team has a game on the schedule for Saturday 06-07-08 at 3:00pm at Frontier Park. We were notified by Jim that Frontier would not be available for our team or the U11 Typhoons at 5:00. The Typhoons game was moved to Commissioners Park. We emailed Jim a couple of times to move the U10 Tiger game over to Commissioners Park as well at 3:00 or 3:15pm, to be played right before the Typhoon game to be more appealing for ref scheduling. This change is not listed on the schedule yet for the U10 Tigers.

      Can you please inform us that these changes will take place. We have already notified the opposing teams of the changes.

      Due to mothers's day. All home games have been cancelled in Naperville Today! Tell the Challengers' Mothers that we appreciate all they do!

      Please arrange an an alternate game option with your opposing coaches and post below for with some times you are suggesting. Any holes in our home schedule at Commisionlers C are probably still available and there are week night slots around town. The best week night time for most referees is after 7 pm. That may works better with traffic also. Finally arrange early as amny teams will be rescheduling this weekends' games.

      Somewhere along the way the 2:30 game you have on the schedule for this Saturday for the Challengers U11 Cyclones was put on the NISL schedule as a 9:30 am game. Since both teams (it is vs. JAMBUC) have 9:30 as the time is it possible to get a field at that time (or close to it?) Also, the game that we have scheduled for 7:00pm on Saturday June 14th is going to have to be re-scheduled, so you can take that one off of your schedule. Thanks!
