There are 3 u11 boys teams at the Challengers Soccer Club each with some very talented players. Of the 3 the Typhoons play at the most competitive level. Most of our weekly communications are done through the following link to our: Google Group but some general info is posted here as well. However active team members should register with our Google Group
Indoor Practices 4:30-6 Wednesdays through March 26 at Our Saviour's Celebration! Community Life Center: 919 S. Washington St; Naperville, IL 60540 the gym is 2 blocks South of Edwards Emergency Room and 2 blocks North of Gartner on Washington St. in the middle of Naperville.
Spring News:
After completing the Fall season on a 15 game winning streak, Typhoons have been "pre-seeded" by NISL at the Gold 1 level. Go Challengers!!
Trainer: Don McBride our club DOC (director of coaching) is the head trainer for the Typhoons but meanwhile we have been evaluating several excellent trainer options. This week Devin impressed Jim and Don a lot by getting a great response from the boys. He is young, excited, a great goalie and may be able to balance the mentoring and "cool" factors that help keep soccer exciting for 11 year old boys. If we can work out schedules Devin may be our newest trainer. He also might stop by the tournament this to weekend. If he does then please take the opportunity to get to know him.
