Fall 08 NISL Registration--Ready To Go

Hi everyone--

All boys' teams for the NISL Fall season have been set up and are ready for player information to be loaded.  I have added the following people as users in the system:  Kandice Henning, Walter Rafacz, Craig Hipp, Julie Donnelly, and Mike Kavanau.  The system has given you a default login and password (they are the same) of first initial, last name, last four numbers of your home phone.  They are in all caps.  For instance, mine would be KMULLIN2016.  Let me know if you have trouble with those.  For new teams, I have assigned coaches who don't belong to your team.  This is temporary and will be changed once everyone has completed their coaching modules and has registered with the ISCA.

For those of you who have used the system in the past, they have changed the website and the registration process is a little different.  Please read through these instructions before making any changes.

Once you login, you should click on Show Teams.  Then click on Players.  You will see the roster as it was for Spring 08.  If you are a new team, this will be blank.

For current teams:  If a player is leaving our club, click on Drop.  He will be dropped from our community.  If a player is changing teams, click on Edit for that player.  You will see a drop-down menu of teams to choose from.  Click the appropriate team.  Make sure you change the uniform number if necessary.

For current and new teams:  To add new players, from the Player List click Add.   You will then se a yellow screen called Player List for Team Assignment.  For current teams, uncheck the box for any players not returning to your team (the same as the Drop function above).  For new teams and to add new players to current teams, click on Activate Players.  You will be taken to another yellow screen titled Player List for Club Selection.  To add players to your team, you would enter the player's first nae, last name, and date of birth in the Player Activation Screen.  You will then be able to assign to a team and complete the registration process.

I know this seems complicated on paper....login to the system and make sure you can see your team and the screns I've mentioned.  If you have trouble, let me know.  I'll limp through the process with you, since it's all new to me, too!

Forms to be filled out/info to be obtained:  NISL Player Registration Form, Copy of Birth Certificate, Copy of 7th grade report card (Mike Kavanau--this is only for you), IYSA Emergency Medical Waiver (may already have from tryouts), Copy of front and back of medical insurance card.

For the Pklayer's Registration ID#:  Enter your team code in the first 6 boxes  This begins with our club code CFM and finishes with your age bracket and another number indicating level of play.  For instance, the Cobras team code is CFM131 (13 for age, 1 for first team), Pythons team code is CFM132.  You'll see it nxt to your team in the system.  For the rest of the ID#, it consists of digits only:  2 digit year of birth, followed by 2 digit month of birth and 2 digit date of birth.  My son is September 29, 1995, so his code is 950929.  Make sense?  Leave the rest blank.

What to do with all these forms?  Keep all originals on file with you.  For new players, make copies of everything (especially birth certificates), and send the copies to the NISL office.  Make sure you put a note on it with your team code and contact information in case something is missing.

All current player passes must be returned to NISL.  Once your games are finished, put the passes in a padded envelope, include another self-addressed stamped padded envelope inside and they will mail your new passes to you when printed.

For now, all fees are due to NISL no later than July 1.  Put your Team Code in the memo line of your check.  To find out your team's fees, click on Edit for your team.  Scroll down to the bottom and you'll see a yellow box with information for the fall season.  There is an amount due for your team.  It's different at each age bracket, so please check yours individually.  For new team:  when you send your fees, include the padded envelope mentioned above for mailing of player passes.

      During the U13 Boy's registration meeting last night, we made a realization that any new players that need to be added to the NISL system have to be added under my login and password. I realize I just set all of you up as users in the system, but there is no way to change this. I don't want to post that information here, so please call me at home (420-2016) or on my cell (744-9882). I'll give you the login and password then.
