Once actual games are scheduled and agreed to by you and you opponents permits are issued the week of Sept 1. At that point game changes and corrections must be and blogged according to the procedures below.
Please properly format your Game Change Requests:
Team managers need to make
ONE comment for each changes in your field requests. Also download and proof new permits below when they become available. Game changes are a lot of work for everybody therefore
additional fees apply for Late Optional Game Changes (LOGCs) See Entry on LOGC Fees:
MORE >>For changes and new requests please give all details including:1. Your team name, level, location, field size and length of game
2.
Which game # is being replaced (use your unique IWSL or NISL game number) or if this is a new game of scrimage. Requests with missing game numbers or reposed multiple times may be accidentially deleted and not addressed at all.
3. Please monitor your entry and watch for an update or reply. Consider temporially subscribing to this entry until your request is processed. then unsubscribe.
After the 1st games if you post a request you should get an answer in a couple of days. Sometimes even immediately. Preseason there are litterally hundreds of requests that Brock is dealing with so be patient. The bLog of changes is there for everybody to see. Once you post your request please do not re-email or repost the same details in a way that makes us do this all 2-3 times. Just email Jim with something like: "Hey I need an update on my blogged request comment from 1 pm 9/6" Every couple of weeks (assuming there are changes) Brock and Jim will repost our permits or spreadsheets below in the downloads section. To keep it managable from time to time we may archive old game change requests once the new permits are posted.
Bills and Lights:
Field bills are figured at $35/hr x length of permit + lights @$35/hr for (Permit lenght + 45 min) If you have a permit lights are set automatically to come on at dusk or 30 min before your game and stay on 15 min afterwards. You are billed for all the lighted time at $35 an hour requardless of how long your game goes. So if you play two 30 min halves you request a 75 min permit. You get 2 hours of lights and your team is billed a total of 3x$35=$105 for that game. Please consider
Sunset Times when scheduling your games.
RefereesOur current referee assignor has said getting a referees earlier than 7 pm on weeknights is tough. Referee assignors may not be monitoring this blog in fall 2008. Please double check that you have a correctly directed referee for you game. See Entry:
Referees for your Challengers Games: MORENote on Referee Scheduler: On 8/28 the referee scheduler website was posted with mostly wrong field locations. This is probably because it was posted before the permits and did not use our 9/26/08
Request Therefore you will need to check your fields closely and let them know if there are corrections. Most teams will have corrections. Permits are based on unique NISL or IWSL game numbers. The referee assignor system creates thier own new game numbers for each game. Unfortunately these numbers are not related.
Preseason Time Blocks and change requests:
We request enough time blocks for each team then we will gathered input on your preferred times for your team. Initially through the time block system we are temporially pre-scheduled twice the number of game slots as we need. At that point we make a list of all game slots and start to fill in each game based on your preferences and a rotation of the most popular times and location. Jim E put the remaining times into a spreadsheet before the NISL scheduling meeting (August 24 8:30-5:30 pm). Each home game was pre-scheduled so at the meeting you will be able to see the open times and fill them in as you reschedule games. At the end of your scheduling meeting the next older age level has their scheduling meeting. You will need to add your schedule to our master schedule and pass it along to the next meeting so the following teams do not double book your game field.
Some times the other team can not commit to your open game slots. Times you are likely to find a field iclude (7 pm weekdays, after 5pm on Saturdays) or comissioners A when it is not scheduled by us are likely to be open especially early in the season. If we get our requests in quickly to the NPD the day or 2 after the games we have a good shot at finding those slots still available. With alot of effort and overtime it will still take at least a week to get permits after the scheduling meeting.
Durring the 1st 2 weeks after the scheduling meeting responses on changes requests and corrections will likely be many and delayed due to the volume.

The field permit blog was getting pretty long so to "help out" I cleaned it up and archived most of the old requests with completed responses. I had a small screw up when I was cleaning up the field permit blog from old entries. I archived these open requests in
Field Permit Archives [Read Article]
You can still write a response for these above with :
