Uniform Fitting Night.
June 8, from 5pm-8pm is Challengers Uniform Night at Soccer2000. It is located at 136 Ogden Avenue, Downers Grove. It's in a shopping center on the north side of the street between Fairview & Cass. It takes 10-15 minutes to get there from north Naperville.
What to expect?
Soccer 2000 will have the Challengers SC uniform apparel (jerseys, shorts, socks, backpacks, training suits, sweatshirts, etc) on display in the store.
S2K staff members will be assisting the Challengers players in sizing for their uniforms as we will have sample sizes of all products available.
Payment of orders and collection of order forms will be done also by the staff of S2K.
For those players who need shoes, shinguards, etc - they will be provided a 25% discount to shop for additional things.
What do the players need to know before they come in?
The player needs to know their age group AND their coach and/or team manager to allow us to organize the orders by team.
What needs to be provided to Soccer 2000 prior to the uniform fitting nights?
The Team Manager needs to providee S2K with a Team Rosters that lists each player along with his/her number and legible spelling of last name (if the jerseys will have names on them). Before the fitting night, each team should coordinate its numbers with the other teams in the same age bracket. (This facilitates sharing of players with no confusion on the field). Attached is a form that each manager can use for this purpose Jersey# by Team form. Don't worry about the sizes for right now -- just fill in the player names & numbers so it's easy for S2K to use this information. They'll use their own form for the sizing. I have also attached the S2K order form if parents would like to review it ahead of time -- no need to try and guess on the sizing though. That's what the fitting night is all about!
Does each team need to go as a group?
You can, if you want to, but it's not necessary. That's why each player just needs to know their age bracket (for fall!) and Coach name/Team Manager name. S2K takes care of the rest. Here are some prices and an order form. Soccer2k Prices09Form
What if some families can't make it that night?
It's not a problem for players to go in individually, either before this night or after, as long as they know their player number & team information. But remember, for boys teams especially, we need these uniforms to get ordered asap. The longer individual players delay, the longer your team will wait for uniforms. Please encourage everyone to try and get there on the 8th, or within a couple of days after that.
